How was the Roman Republic Organized?
The Rome republic is the term used the period in Roman history when Rome its territories were ruled without a king or emperor.
* There were three branches of government: Senate, Assembly & Consuls
* It was made up of elected representatives, (the Consuls) from the people, they worked to protect the rights of the people.
* Two men, (women weren't allowed) who served for a year, elected by the assembly, had a lot of power, usually military leaders or judges
In the U.S. our three branches of government were influenced by what Rome did.
*What are Senators?
The Roman Republic was ruled by the Senate. The Senate was the council of the noblemen, they controlled all the top jobs in the Rome government.

During his time governing he expanded Rome a lot, which won him fame, wealth, popularity, and the trust of his soldiers. But, the senate thought that Caesar had become too powerful and orderd him to come home without his army. Caesar did return to Rome, but with his army and started a Civil War. He was out to kill the other Generals who also wanted control of Rome. Caesar defeated his main enemy Pompeii, and he allayed himself with Egypt's queen Cleopatra. In excaunge for his help of defeating her brother, Cleopatra gave Caesar money so he could take control of Rome Ceaser reterned to Rome in 49 BCE and later made himself the Dictator. He died in Court, because he was stabbed in the back with a knife. Rome later fell into chaos, but after a lot of fighting Ceasars sun became the ruler.
Rome's Progress from Kingdom to Empire
It was fairly easy for Rome to grow vastly because one of the best rulers ever, his name was Julias Caesar. Julias Caesar was an amazing military strategist, he led the Romans to become the eight largest country in that time. So why was Julias Caesar such an general? He was so good because Rome was so easy to defend, there was mountains in the back and they were right next to Mediterranean which made it even easy to defend, and he was a smart man, especially when it came to military. Rome progressed from Kingdom to Empire mostwith lots of conquering exploring and growing as a civilization.
