Differences and Similarities of U.S. and Ancient Rome Social Classes
In Ancient Rome, it was almost impossible to move up on the Social Ladder, for instance slaves could not move up on the Social Ladder, it would not have been allowed. But, in the U.S., it was possible to move up or down on the Social Class "ladder". If you start earning more money, and went to a good college, you could move up. If you have a poor education, and start losing money, you could move down.
